Put your name on the noticeboard

We list local guides and rangers by name, with your own photo, what you are good at, your vehicle and how to reach you. No operator sits in between. There is a form because it saves you writing an email from scratch, and it takes about six minutes.

We check your licence with the authority before your profile goes up, and the number itself is never published.

Lodges, camps and campsites

Every place to stay at Ruaha National Park is already listed, whether or not you asked us to, because leaving somewhere out would make the guide worse. What we usually get wrong is what changed since we last looked.

• Photographs. Most entries carry an illustration because we only publish images we are licensed to use. Send us yours with a line saying we may use them and we will swap it the same week.
• Rates. Tell us what a bed actually costs now, and whether that is per person or per room. We publish the figure you give us, not a number of our own.
• Anything wrong. Rooms, seasons, who owns you, whether you are open at all. We will say when we last checked.

Activity and transfer operators

Our activity pages describe what the park permits and what it costs. What they do not yet do is tell a traveller who to call. If you run something bookable at Ruaha National Park, we want the name and the number.

• What you run, and the months you actually run it in.
• What it costs, and whether park fees are included.
• Any licence or permit you hold, and who issued it.
• How people reach you: WhatsApp is fine, and usually better than a website.
